REGULATIONS / TIME LIMIT
Participants must pass all checkpoints and follow the organization’s arrows. You must cross the finish line in your category within 50% of the Time limit.
Example: if you start in Sport Class 4 and the fastest in this category finishes in 3 hours and 30 minutes, you should be there within 7 hours.
In 2019, the fastest in Sports Class 4 needed 3:35 for the first stage, the slowest 6:35 and was within the time limit.
Helmets are compulsory for all participants. All participants are obliged to use the organization’s start numbers. It is an offence to change the start numbers. The overall leaders are obliged to wear the respective leader’s jerseys of the organization. The routes are marked with Alpentour Trophy directional arrows, but each participant has to orientate himself. The event will take place on public roads where you must ride according to road traffic rules. Throwing away rubbish is not allowed. In the event of violations of the regulations, the jury or the race management will decide on the respective penalties.
The organization does not take liability for damages or injuries. Each participant rides at one’s own risk and responsibility. Participants who withdraw from the race have to notify the race organization – otherwise this person will be charged for the search.
The organization reserves the right for changes.
