On final day the deciding mountain time trial to Schafalm/Planai was scheduled at the 21st edition of Alpentour Trophy. 9.4 kilometres of climbing waited at the ultimate stage and at the men’s elite Leonardo Paez and Diego Cuervo celebrated a Columbian one-two-victory uphill. Third place went to Austrian Daniel Geismayr. In the overall classification Paez won ahead of Italian Daniele Mensi and Cuervas.

By 17 seconds Belgian Githa Michiels missed a perfect fourth win at this year’s Alpentour Trophy. At the final day the Italian Maria Nisi beat the winner of the overall classification on the way to Schafalm. Third place went to German Stefanie Dohrn. After four stages it was a superior win for Michiels, nearly 20 minutes ahead of Nisi and Austrian Angelika Tazreiter.
