Second day and second win for Columbian Leonardo Paez and Belgian Githa Michiels at the 21st Alpentour Trophy. Again the two overall leaders at the men’s and women’s category are the strongest riders in the field. Paez won ahead of German Jochen Käß (+ 0:33) and Italian Daniele Mensi (+ 1:16), who finished second on the first day. At the women’s elite Michiels was again unbeatable, winning by an advantage of 3:48 ahead of Angelika Tazreiter, who scored Austria’s first podium at the 21st edition. Third place went to Italian Maria Nisi, who finished second on the first day.
